Traditional Manx Shepherding. (2 Images)

Its so lovely to see traditional ways of moving sheep and their lambs still practiced in the Isle of Man.
I came across these lovely lambs and their mothers on the coast road near to the Lhen in the North of the Island.
It was a beautiful spring day and lovely to see the lambs going out into the field to enjoy the warm spring sunshine.

Thatched Cottage, Cregneash.

This is a traditional thatched manx stone cottage in the quaint village of Cregneash in the South of the Island. Cregneash is a mix of tiny private and working cottages as this is a working museum consisting of a farm which uses the original old farming machinery and horses to pull the ploughs, tiny working cottages demonstrating different skills used in the 19th and early 20th century such as thatching, spinning, weaving, wood turning, black- smithing and a range of skills used in the growing and preparation of food. There is a cafe and lovely trails and walks including farm trails and coastal footpaths. Cregneash is a fantastic day out for all the family and also for wonderful picturesque walks.
